Online Teaching Resources

Given that most of us have suddenly been told to convert our classes to online delivery, we would like to share resources with our members of Women in French. Please visit our News section for the current list of resources, and submit further suggestions to nimeyer@augusta.edu. She will consolidate and post through the WiF Listserv and here on the WIF website.

Our Mission

Women in French is a scholarly association whose goal is the promotion of  the study of French and Francophone women authors, the study of women’s place in French and Francophone cultures and literature, and feminist literary criticism.

Our goal is also to share information and to debate the position of women in higher education in the United States and Canada.

Who are the members of Women in French?

Women in French is a resource for French language teachers, teachers of French and Francophone cultures and literatures, researchers with a university degree (M.A., Ph.D.) or equivalent educational experience, and students at the university level.

Representatives and panelists from Women in French recently assembled at the 2020 Modern Language Association Convention in Seattle, WA. The WiF panels and business dinner were wonderful successes, and we look forward to reconvening at upcoming conferences this Spring!
