Our MissionWomen in French is a scholarly association whose goal is the promotion of the study of French and Francophone women authors, the representation of women and gender in French and Francophone literatures, the role of women and people with diverse genders and identities in French and Francophone history and cultures, gender theory, and feminist literary criticism. Our goal is also to share information and to debate the position of women in higher education in the United States and Canada. Who are the members of Women in French? Women in French is a resource for French language teachers, teachers of French and Francophone cultures and literatures, researchers with a university degree (M.A., Ph.D.) or equivalent educational experience, and students at the university level. | Recent News
