Women in French Studies invites submissions of scholarly articles pertaining to the study of French and Francophone literature and cultures. Research on all topics, genres, and centuries welcome. We particularly welcome submissions on pre-20th-century periods, as well as essays by graduate students and early career scholars. Articles may be written in English or in French. However, we highly recommend that you write your essay in the language in which you feel you can best convey your ideas. Articles should not exceed twenty pages and should follow the MLA Style. Articles submitted to WIF Studies should be original work and not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Graduate students are also encouraged to apply for the graduate essay award with a submission deadline of May 25. The winning essay will be published in WIF Studies.
